Pickling plants for strips

Steuler Anlagenbau designs, supplies, installs and commissions complete dip, turbulence and spray pickling plants for the treatment of steel or stainless steel strip. They can be configured both as continuous pickling lines and as discontinuous push-pull pickling lines and commissioned either as new plants or for retrofitting existing production facilities.
Our strip pickling plants are custom-designed, installed and operated while taking into consideration the customer's individual processing needs with regard to material thickness, width, grades and throughput quantities.
Depending on requirements, the treating tanks are manufactured from rubberised steel (with or without acid-resistant refractory brick liners), polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) or alloy steel.
When deciding on the most appropriate pickling method, the Steuler engineers pay special attention to achieving the required surface quality, throughput capacities and plant availability while simultaneously optimizing the use of chemicals, minimizing fresh water consumption, thus reducing wastewater produced and reducing the volume of exhaust air to a minimum. Through high quality of our largely automated plants, only require a small number of staff is required for operation and maintenance.
High plant availability, high surface quality, high operating flexibility – Steuler Anlagenbau has the ideal solution for each demand.
