Thanks to the systematic optimization of the catalysts, components and process control systems that make up the modular system, it is possible to construct plants of all different sizes – either as a turnkey system or as stand-alone and process stages.
Our VOC combustion plants find use in engine and turbine generators, combustion plants, chemical, petrochemical and metallurgical processing plants as well as in hazardous waste and residue incineration plants and other processes besides. When catalysts are used for the catalytic oxidation of VOC, they can be used both selectively and in combination with a SCR catalyst linked to a catalytic NOx reduction unit. This makes it possible to use systems that are optimised for low investment and operating costs.
Thermal VOC combustion systems are preferentially used where catalyst poisons may be present in the exhaust gas.
